An 8-year-old boy from Bulandshahr was struck by a stray bullet during celebratory gunfire at a wedding  a bullet that tore through his jaw while he was playing on a neighbour’s rooftop.
Reyansh was rushed to a local hospital and later to Fortis Hospital Noida, where doctors performed an emergency surgery. He is now in a coma and fighting for his life on ventilator support.
This was not just an “unfortunate incident.” It was illegal and reckless celebratory firing that endangered a child’s life — and the people responsible are reportedly still on the run.
Every parent should be able to trust that their child is safe in their community. Yet reckless gunfire at celebrations continues because of poor enforcement, weak accountability, and a lack of urgent action by authorities.

We demand justice for Reyansh.
